BrickTrack, a product developed by HastRadar ("we", "us", or "our"), is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how our Android application handles your personal and financial information.
1. Information We Collect
BrickTrack is designed with a mobile-first, privacy-first architecture:
- Local Construction & Expense Logs: All project budgets, material purchases, contractor payment records, and SKU data entered into BrickTrack are stored exclusively in your device's local database.
- AI Receipt OCR Images: When you use our optional AI Receipt Scanning feature, images of construction bills or handwritten logs are processed over encrypted HTTPS calls to AI APIs (Google Gemini) solely for text extraction. Image data is not stored or sold.
- Google Drive Personal Cloud Sync (Optional): If you choose to enable Cloud Sync, your database backups are saved directly to your personal Google Drive account. We do not host or access your backups on external servers.
- Google Play Billing Information: Subscription and in-app purchase transactions are processed securely by Google Play Store. We do not collect or retain your credit card or financial banking details.
2. How Information is Used
Your data is used solely to provide core application features:
- Calculating budget limits and spending progress.
- Generating PDF financial reports for your personal construction project.
- Restoring your Pro subscription state via Google Play Billing API.
3. Data Sharing & Third Parties
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal or financial data under any circumstances. Data is only processed through secure official service providers:
- Google Play Services: For secure purchase management and optional Google Drive backup.
- Google Generative AI (Gemini API): For optional OCR receipt text recognition.
4. Data Retention & Deletion
Since your construction logs are stored locally on your Android device, uninstalling the application or clearing app data will immediately delete all local records. To request manual cloud data removal, visit our Account & Data Deletion Request Page.
