Wakeo Terms of Service

Welcome to Wakeo. These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you ("User", "Parent", or "Guardian") and HastRadar Consultancy Services ("HastRadar", "we", "us", or "our") governing your installation and use of the Wakeo Android mobile application (package name: com.hastradar.wakeo) and related online services.

By downloading, registering, or using Wakeo, you accept and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not install or use the application.

1. Parental Authority and Family Use

Wakeo is designed to assist parents and legal guardians in managing the morning wake-up and school preparation routines of their children. By using the application to pair with a child's mobile device, you represent and warrant that:

• You are at least 18 years of age (or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction).
• You are the parent or legal guardian of any minor child whose device you connect to your parent account via the 6-digit numeric pairing code.
• You give your express parental consent to the transmission of alarm schedules, device health metrics, and morning wake-up selfie verification photos between the child device and your parent account.

2. Account Registration and Device Pairing

To utilize Wakeo, users authenticate via mobile phone number SMS verification. You agree to provide an accurate phone number and maintain the confidentiality of any SMS verification codes and pairing credentials. You are solely responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

3. Alarm Functionality and Device Disclaimers

Wakeo employs native Android exact alarm scheduling (USE_EXACT_ALARM) and foreground media services to deliver alarm audio at scheduled times. However, alarm reliability can be impacted by factors beyond our reasonable control:

• Device battery exhaustion, complete power-down, or aggressive third-party battery management task killers (e.g., manufacturer battery optimizations on specific Android OEM builds).
• Hardware defects, speaker faults, or operating system updates that revoke system permissions.
• Wakeo is a routine assistance tool and is not designed, certified, or intended for use in life-critical, medical, emergency, or safety-critical situations where alarm failure could lead to personal injury or severe financial harm.

4. Selfie Verification and Content Rules

The selfie verification feature is provided solely for confirming wakefulness. Users agree not to upload or submit any images that are unlawful, obscene, defamatory, harassing, or violate the privacy rights of any third party. HastRadar reserves the right to terminate accounts that abuse or misuse verification mechanisms.

5. Intellectual Property Rights

All software, code, user interfaces, branding, visual designs, trademarks, and documentation related to Wakeo are the exclusive proprietary property of HastRadar Consultancy Services. You are granted a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the application strictly for personal, non-commercial family use. You may not reverse-engineer, decompile, modify, or distribute the application.

6. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, HastRadar Consultancy Services and its officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages—including missed appointments, lost earnings, or school/employment penalties—resulting from your use of or inability to use Wakeo or any failure of alarm sounding.

7. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India. Any legal dispute, controversy, or claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of Wakeo shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in Bengaluru, Karnataka, India.
